Little Kindness (“the app”) is designed to help users send thoughtful messages by selecting a random contact and a positive quote, then opening the system message composer for user review.
Information the App Accesses
The app may request access to:
- Contacts, so the app can choose a random contact.
- Notifications, if you enable daily reminders.
Contacts
If you grant access to your contacts, Little Kindness uses that access only to help select a random contact for your message workflow.
On iOS, contacts are managed through Apple’s iOS permission system. You can allow full access, selected access, or deny access, depending on the options available on your device and version of iOS.
On Android, contacts are managed through Android’s permission system. You can allow access or deny access, depending on the options available on your device and version of Android.
Messages
Little Kindness does not send messages automatically. The app prepares a message and opens the system message composer so that you can review and confirm before anything is sent.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app may schedule local notifications on your device to remind you to open the app. These notifications are generated locally on your device.
Data Collection
Little Kindness does not collect personal data. The app runs entirely on your device and has no servers, no analytics, and no tracking. You are not required to create an account.
Your contacts and your messages stay on your device. Little Kindness never uploads, stores, or shares them.
Third-Party Services
Little Kindness uses Apple and Google system frameworks and services needed to provide app functionality, such as contacts permissions, notifications, and the system message composer.
If the app is updated in the future to use additional third-party services, this Privacy Policy may be updated accordingly.
Your Choices
You can manage app permissions at any time through your device settings, including Contacts and Notifications access.
Children’s Privacy
Little Kindness is not directed to children under 13, and the app is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.
